For more details on all Halloween events and many more not listed, check out the South Lake Tahoe event page here.

Boo Bash 2024

Ever After and the City of SLT Parks & Recreation Center have teamed up for Boo Bash 2024, a double-dose of Halloween fun with two nights of festivities. Expect music, trick-or-treating, live performances, and, of course, costumes galore! Dress up as your favorite villain, and don't miss the haunted horseless carriage ride. Tickets are available online, but remember, they’ll cost $10 more at the door. This is a family-friendly event, so kids are welcome, but make sure any child under 18 is accompanied by an adult.

Spooktacular Halloween at Zephyr Point

For a more family-friendly option, head to Zephyr Point’s Spooktacular Halloween. This event offers a fun-filled evening with activities like pumpkin painting, a haunted house, trick-or-treating, and even hayrides. The entry fee is just $5 per person, with a $20 parking fee, but all activities inside are free. Proceeds go toward Zephyr Point’s Youth Camps, so it’s Halloween fun for a great cause!

Heavenly Village Trick or Treat & Costume Contest

The Shops at Heavenly Village are hosting the biggest free trick-or-treat event for kids on the south shore. Partnering with local favorites like Desolation Hotel, Maggies Restaurant, and Get Rad Pizza, this event is perfect for families. There's a $1,000 costume contest, free live music from Motorboat, and plenty of candy for trick-or-treaters. Don't forget to swing by the wood-fired pizza stand for a slice while you enjoy the Halloween fun.

And for Adults only visit:

Freaker’s Ball

If you’re looking for a truly wild Halloween experience, check out the legendary Freaker’s Ball. This Lake Tahoe classic is happening at both Blu Nightclub and Opal Nightclub, giving party-goers two parties under one roof. The highlight? A massive $10,000 costume contest, making it a must-attend for competitive costume enthusiasts. Get your friends together, dress to impress, and get ready to party like never before.

The Haunted Loft

For a spookier experience, The Loft is turning into the only Ultra Lounge in the Heavenly Village for Halloween night. Starting at 10 p.m., DJs will be spinning dance tracks until 2 a.m., making it the ultimate spot for all the freaks to come out and play. They’re also holding a massive costume contest, with over $1,000 in prizes, including dinners, drinks, and even show tickets! This is an adults-only event, so leave the kids behind and come mix and mingle at South Lake Tahoe’s hottest Halloween party.
